Safety Policy

Before a tutor ever teaches

• Verified with school transcripts and GPA before their profile goes live.
• Reference checks from teachers or school counselors.
• Completion of our tutor training program before their first session.
• An admin reviews and activates every profile — none go public automatically.

During a session

• In-person sessions happen in public locations only — a library or café, never a private home.
• Online sessions use Google Meet or Zoom, whichever the family prefers.
• Parents receive booking confirmations and post-session reports automatically by email.
• A written session report — topics covered, homework, and progress — follows every session.

Code of conduct

We have zero tolerance for harassment, dishonesty, or unsafe behavior from anyone on the platform — tutor, student, or parent. Any report of a violation is reviewed promptly, and accounts can be suspended while we look into it.
